What do you enjoy most about landscaping?
It’s so satisfying! I love the feeling you get after a hard day’s work, it’s really energizing. I’m a flower child—I love being outside surrounded by beautiful blooms and foliage

What do you enjoy most about landscaping?
Cultivating relationships with plants is one of my favorite things about my work. Understanding the biology of them is gratifying. Each species we work with—even each plant itself—has a personality, and in order to foster it and allow the plant to flourish, you must learn everything you can about them and what is around them, both intuitively and academically. It is such an amazingly beautiful process that flourishes while in the field.

How did your love for landscaping develop?
Since I was a little boy, I would go to work with my father and saw how he would work and provide for us. I saw and learned the many methods there were to maintain a good looking property.

How did your love for landscaping develop?
I am from the countryside, and the countryside is inside me. I grew up working and playing outside, so naturally, I love it. I like everything about flowers and vegetables and I have worked in this for most of my life. I worked at the Chatham Berry Farm for thirteen years in their greenhouses, and I have also worked harvesting apples, growing flowers and making Christmas wreaths.

Our Mission -
To practice responsible land stewardship by promoting, facilitating, and managing properties to create and support ecologically diverse native landscapes.
We seek to practice responsible land stewardship by promoting, facilitating, and managing properties to create and support ecologically diverse native landscapes.
Inspired by our research in soil health, carbon sequestration, and other climate-change related concerns, we view our land stewardship work as vital to restoring and maintaining the well-being of our lands. We work collaboratively with each client to determine the scale, style, and native plant species best suited for their eco-restoration project. The goal of these projects is to provide critical habitat for birds and pollinators, improve soil health and sequester carbon, prevent erosion, and improve water quality.
